
Meet Tyler
Tyler was born in Jackson, MS to working class parents. He began working at the age of 14 with his father who was a roofer. Tyler learned the art of community organizing from his grandparents, who were children of tenant farmers. He is the first in his family to graduate college and has worked for nearly a decade as a tireless advocate for ending food insecurity. He organized multiple community food banks and mutual aid efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tyler's worked in various capacities as a volunteer for community hospice organizations, food banks, HIV/AIDS awareness, and disability rights.
Upon graduation, Tyler founded a business dedicated to restoring and revitalizing communities in need throughout Florida and the United States.
